20 Random Facts about Cassandra Sandsmark

1. The first time Cassandra Sandsmark met Kara Zor-El, she got into a random fight with her, punched the kryptonian girl in the jaw, and wound up splitting her knuckles. She still has the scars, and sometimes likes to stare at them. She usually finds herself grinning like an idiot.

2. As a young girl, the pained glances and unsaid expressions of love between her mother and Diana were painfully clear to Cassie. She vowed right then never to let someone she loved slip away because she was scared.

3. Cassie always knew that Tim resented her for being the one that Kon fell in love with, and that he was only interested in her because it helped him feel a connection to Kon. She knew the relationship wasn't healthy for either of them, but for some reason, she just couldn't stop.

4. Cassie will always remember that night Slobo spiked the punch at the YJ cave with vodka, and she, Greta and Cissie wound up playing "Kiss or Dare". Even if her friends have a case of selective amnesia, she still has those pictures she wrestled off Bart to prove it.

5. Cassie's starting to realize that a part of her desperately wants to be reunited with Kon and Bart, and that's why she does insanely stupid things like trying to kidnap the President. She's working on pushing that part of her deep down, because even if she has a death wish, she's not dragging Kara down with her.

6. Every time Cassie's around M'gann, she thinks about asking her to shapeshift into Kon for just a little while. But she never does, because she knows M'gann would agree to do it.

7. When Cassie first met Kara, she thought the kryptonian girl was ridiculously naive, far too innocent for her own good, and willing to say what was on her mind to the point of being annoying. Now, she realizes that's exactly what she loves about her.

8. Cassie knows Eddie and Jaime have a spy camera on her and Kara's room at Titans tower. She's plotting her revenge, but letting them have their fun in the meantime. Cassie knows revenge is a dish best served cold. Cold, and very entertaining.

9. Regardless of what she tells everyone, the dreams of Kon's last moments still haunt her every night. Having a Kryptonian next to her is pretty much the only thing that will get her back to sleep. Kara makes for a good pillow.

10.Cassie doesn't understand Donna's origin either. But she knows her big sister was there for her a lot of times no one else was. Even if she has no clue what a Darkstar is.

11. Every time Cassie loses her temper, or acts rashly out of anger, a part of her realizes it's her brother Ares exercising his new power over her. She knows he'll come to make her pay for the deal she cut with him one day. Ares never does anything without a price. But no one knows about the deal she made, and they're not going to. No one else is ever going to die for her.

12. When Cassie and Kara first told Clark and Diana about their relationship, the ensuing arguments between their two mentors lasted over three hours. Cassie and Kara excused themselves, and are very grateful that Clark and Diana do not know what went on during those three hours.

13. Kara is ticklish, and her heat vision has a tendency to go off uncontrollably as a result. Cassie has a tiny scar on her left thigh reminding her of this fact.

14. The worst moment of Cassie's life was seeing Conner's life slip away in front of her. The second worst was seeing Kara, beaten to a pulp by the Kryptonite Man, barely clinging to life on her balcony. Cassie didn't sleep for three days while she waited by Kara's bedside for her to wake up. Kara escaped with five stitches and a fractured ankle, but Cassie now realizes that while losing someone haunts you, almost losing someone never leaves either.

15. Cassie never thought her mother understood her. After her mother realized that Kara didn't have anywhere to go while she recovered from her injuries, and offered to let her move in with them for as long as she wanted, Cassie realized that her mother understood a lot more than she ever realized.

16. Cassie secretly thinks Kara looks even cuter in her secret ID civilian clothes than she does in her Supergirl outfit. The Elias School's uniforms were never put to such good use.

17. Cassie's fully aware of Rose's crush on her. She's been half-tempted to jump her in the middle of many of their arguments, but doesn't want to face 98 pounds of pure Kryptonian fury. She figures one day, just maybe, she'll bring up the possibility of a threesome.

18. When Kon came back, clawing his way back from the realm of the dead in the midst of the Final Crisis to turn the tide of battle, Cassie's heart tore in two. How was she going to decide between the love she lost, and the love she found? Then she saw Tim tear across the battlefield and embrace his true love. Somehow, the universe had a way of working things out.

19. Cassie found that being introduced to the Kents for the second time was far more awkward than being introduced for the first time. Even though this time she was fully clothed. Then Kon and Tim walked in, Jonathan became completely non-verbal, and Martha went to calm everyone down with peach pie. Cassie is really glad her future in-laws are this open-minded. Even if it took Jonathan about fifteen minutes to say "Congratulations!"

20. Cassie was more than a little freaked out when she found Kara's research on Kryptonian methods for female/female gene mixing. But the more she thought about it, the more she was glad it was out there. She wonders how hard a Kryptonian/Amazon baby would kick. She thinks about the future a lot, and knows just how close she came to the edge. And then she hides the research away again, under password protection, to make sure her mother won't find it until they're ready.
