The last time I did was 2021, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that The Jeffersons now has more than my one work. So I double checked that last fandom up there, got briefly excited because "Partners in Crime" was a tag in the TV Show fandoms.
However, it is actually for Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime, from the year before my one season detective American show. So yep, gotta disambiguate the name when I create it.
(I am trying to mentally fortify myself for the first TG dinner I am partly responsible for in ... a very long time, so no misc.exhausted.me this week)

Nov. 22nd, 2025 08:56 ambradygirl_12Fitting that it's rainy and gloomy on the 62nd anniversary of JFK's assassination, though ironically it was a gorgeous day in Texas and Massachusetts on November 22, 1963.
Well, the coup d'etat was successful. JFK's order to start military advisor withdrawals from Vietnam (1,000 by the end of 1963, all of them by the end of 1965) was quietly rescinded by LBJ a few days after the assassination. LBJ's buddies at Bell Helicopter and in Big Texas Oil would get their war.

It seems to also have been a real slow down in my viewing, but I was working nights and/or juggling supervision work without being a supervisor.
Fast & Furious 6 - Decent. At this point it really was about how ludicrous the stunts could be.
After Earth - Is it great? No. Did it hold my attention? YES. It's one of those that I watched a few times, will not rec it to just anyone, but it had SOMETHING there that grabs my attention.
Pacific Rim - Not even in the Top 10 movies of the year, and yet. The impact of seeing this (I bought it in a cheapie bin! I don't think there was ANY marketing in my area for it) cannot be measured. It was watching Godzilla on a Saturday morning, and following it up with Voltron. It was joy. It was tragedy. It was beautiful.
