Ask me my Top Five Whatevers. Fannish or otherwise. Any top fives. Doesn't matter what, really! And I will answer them all in a comment. Possibly with pictures. I fail at pictures.
1. The first time I remember going to Disney World. I was absolutely enthralled by this show involving singing foods. I saw it every day we were there. Sadly, it closed down when I was 12. :(
2. The summer I rode on "The Munchmobile". I won a contest to ride along with my local paper's summer food review event, where we searched for the best food in New Jersey. There were five winners, and it was an insane summer. XD
3. Joining our first game. It was actually really big for me. I wasn't a very social person, at all, and joining a group of people with similar interests to play was really exciting. I felt very out of my depths at first, but when Rachel joined and we sort of formed our foursome that lasted for so long, it really started feeling great.
4. Graduating from Grad School. That last year was insanely stressful, with tough classes, demanding internships, and an incredibly challenging Stats final that had me pulling out my hair. The feeling of finishing at long last was amazing. Unlike high school and undergrad, which I coasted through a bit, I felt like a fought for this.
5. Becoming a published author for the first time last month. An amazing feeling, and I'm currently working on my second, longer story for this comic.
And we had challenges throughout the summer, competing for points, and the winner would get a gift certificate at the end of the summer. I came in second to this guy who was basically an eating machine. XD
1. Disney/Pixar. My second fandom, even though I don't write much fic in it. I have a few Toy Story plotbunnies, though.
2. Glee. My newest fandom. I have been won over by the copious amount of Femslash. <3
3. Kingdom Hearts. I absolutely love the games, but the fandom as a whole is too big for me to really get into. Same as...
4. Supernatural. One of my favorite shows, especially in the later seasons, but I'm not involved in the fandom.
5. Survivor. Does this count? There's almost no fic, and I would have no interest in RPF. But I love the game, have played online versions, and can't wait for the new season.
